Sennheiser hmd or hme series is probs your best bet. The hmd25's are industry standard in sports commentating, and sound the same as hd25's

no probs mate, happy to help some of the dropouts whiling I was playing the acapella could be due to the fact that it was a censored version, but I'm pretty sure there were some connection issues as well. Definitely need some more testing but I'm sure that everything should be okay once the kinks are worked out. Only thing is that I was playing music through my controller which means that users need to plug the mic into that or their mixer/soundcard/whatever, rather than being able to use an inbuilt one on a laptop (at the same time). Otherwise they'd have to switch back and forward between them in the settings on skype which could be a hassle.

You can plug one of your mixer outs (someone with a mixer could be more specific here) into the line or microphone in on the laptop.

not really garage imo i'd just say its bass music which is pretty shit because it can cover such a large variety of sounds. I first noticed it 2010, might've been around earlier. So like I said, essentially anything under the sun could get called bass music.
