if you remixed it without having access to stems (though i would argue using the instrumental and acapella from a release is still bootlegging), then yes you could call that a bootleg. but its still a remix, so you would still call it a remix. bootleg just means unsanctioned (though i notice a lot of releases now having bootleg mixes which i assume are sanctioned remixes not using stems).

ahh time to snuffle the Roots - Walk Alone this was from the how i got over album. which was their last one aside from the john legend collabo. anyone who dont know the roots go check em. hip hop band. great soulful music. for the youngins that watch jimmy fallon they the studio band anyway track is a mellow key laden track. features regular associate dice raw assisting black thoughts on lyrics. nice little swing style hook. you can pitcure this in a cigar filled club with booths and small stage.

hey lloyd, seems to be a few issues with 2.1.1. Are you on tsp 2 or tsp1? anyways looks like a lot of people are rolling back to 2.0.3 here are two about CPU spikes, even one saying its mac specific because his mates asus works fine http://www.native-instruments.com/forum ... p?t=149215 http://www.native-instruments.com/forum ... p?t=149729 and here is one saying there is a bug with tempo sync. im not sure what that means, as they saying beat sync works but not tempo sync, there is more than one sync? http://www.native-instruments.com/forum ... p?t=149353 another thing that came to mind when reading the posts is remember to adjust your latency after each upgrade. as the latency setting is like finding a perfect partner, it depends on everything around and your current situation. and what is perfect for one is not necessarily perfect for someone else. im pretty sure after my last upgrade i had to tweak latency a bit to get rid of snap crackles.

shouldnt matter. my laptop is over six years old. 2GB ram, and it runs tsp tops.
-
this is your problem! im surprised though. about 2 years ago when i first bought tsp, every upgrade started messing with macs, and reading the forums it actually pretty much looked like macs were an afterthought. then for the last 2 updates (that i know of but havent checked for about 6 months), the tables turned and it seemed like NI had become maccentric. anyways, have you checked NI forum? people may have already gone thru and advised whether it is software; or hardware driver. and people will suggest whether roll back is needed. but i said it to foolish, dont do auto-updates with NI. they are notorious!!!! and when i was tracking it, they were on a cycle of one good update; one bad update. in fact you regularly read of people who would skip 3 to 4 updates. EDIT: i havent been on that forum for ages. may have a squizz at lunch and will let you know if i see anything.

eggssell replied to anditz's topic in Mixers & Controllers
are you sure? as i said, according the dj shop they said they swap out the cords on their euro made mixers (mine was a reloop from germany) with one that has a ground to comply with australian standards. and i just checked the other end and its just your standard 2 hole one? and i remember being in harvey norman and i was trying to explain the ground loop hum to them, and the dude came around with a cord without the ground (a 2 pin) and said why dont you just swap it? again im no expert, but unless you can't tell from the ends i'm pretty sure the end of my mixer looks like the end of my ghettoblaster (which uses a 2 pin chord). ill get some pics
