yeah a lot of the techs have a switch which can determine the voltage. these didn't. Tubby knows a bit more than i do. so the transformer steps down or steps up the voltage to make these work. havent watched the market enuff for a while so dont know whats the going rate. went crazy for a bit then died off (i think ppl who had them in cupboards were offing them at overpriced values due to the technics are dead hysteria, kinda like the sydney housing market). just remember you will need to buy headshells and carts which will be a couple hundred(?). i think $140 for two shures on a headshell(?).

prob cuz some people are sceptical of using a transformer thingy majig. but if you have no qualms then its a bargain. also its unloaded. and finally its three days to go. these will go for over 5 hunge.

you mean duck sauce? see i think thats the prob with people who go to see a set from a producer. were you disappointed cuz they play a lot of hip hop and breaks as oppossed to sounds like duck sauce. i got that with sonique years ago. i loved her tracks and they were very much a sounds on sunday feel. but then when she played new years day for sounds (at greenwood, this was way before the days of field day, they had like a boxing ring dance floor over the centre courtyard) she plays a lot more progressive house into some tech house. so yeah i think the producer has nothing to do with the dj and people really shouldnt expect that. and at the sametime you cant expect them to just stand up and play their own tracks for the whole set. on the other hand if they just sucked balls, then fair enuff.
