yea guys i meant 1000s. THANKS FUDD! i tihnk the way ill do it, is take a CD wallet of tracks i plan on playing and then commerical/cheese on USB just incase some bishes want requests. my mate has pretty much requested no cheese though which is good, but yea, maybe songs on USB for backup i actually have no idea how traktor works.. i dont even know how u connect it up to CDJ1000s im sure there is a thread on here somewhere where some has explained it

yea he uses CDs now.. not too great on them though, i was quite dissapointed in his future set but at the end of the day he is a producer and not a DJ pretty baws stage dive at the end

they have CDJ100s and DJM 700 yea ill just use CDs i think, dont really wanna upload all my tracks onto his computer

nah i know that about the 900/2000s. i think the decks will be CDJ1000s though, which is why he is bringing his laptop and gonna use traktor

am i able to play my songs straight from USB or do i have to copy onto his laptop? cause i dont really wanna copy all my tracks onto his laptop and jsut give him a shit tonne of free tracks

Not 100% sure, the venue site says CDJs and mixer im going to assume CDJ1000s and DJM800 cdjs is sweet cause i have them.. the mixer i havent used a 4 chanel mixer, but that shouldnt be a problem

hey hey im doign a gig with a mate and he's gonna use his laptop all set up with traktor i was originally planning on using CDs cause thast what im used to.. but now im ithnking i might just put the tracks on a couple of USBs and play the night through traktor just wanted to know what the learning curve of it is? like would i be able to pick it up and be able to get into the mixing straight away, im worried if i only bring USBs then im forced to use traktor and hten if i cant learn the software quick/well enough ill do a shit set

that happened with me, i assume your using itunes? right click> get info> jsut click ok again from memory thats all i did, or even jsut double click and play the song if that fails, delete from itunes and then put it back in again does that work?
