johnoberno Posted March 31, 2011 Share Posted March 31, 2011 Hey guys.Basically my story is that I do enjoy the occasional DJ but as with most things audio, it's a bit of an expensive Hobby.At the moment I'm trying to sell my mixer (need a bit of a cash infusion).With any luck (and first impressions seem good) I'll enjoy this forum and stick around for a while. I haven't had a good forum to have a chat in for a lonnngg time now.So with that I'll say thanks for reading and hopefully see you around.Cheers. Bands like mewithoutYou, Thrice and Cloudkicker dominate my listening of late.I have to ask, whats the deal with the little guys with what appear to be condoms on their heads? Bit random. eggssell Posted April 3, 2011 Share Posted April 3, 2011 a jonnyb and a jonob being both dubstep heads, thats random chev started it and then someone said it was dumb and so it became the norm. im pretty sure he was kind of saying something insulting/patronising/inflammotory to a newb and hence was saying safe so as not to seem like a prick!! but i like the metaphoric use of it.
