Not a good comparison. Dubfire is a HUGE producer and internationally renound artist. As I said to Sol earlier, it's not right comparing someone like that to the average Joe Blow. Unless you're playing a headline set, the other DJ's will be frustrated with all the fucking around that goes into setting up a laptop and controller. A good tradesman never blames his tools, so a good DJ shouldn't get there and say "I can't mix on these, I need my controller". Problem? I do agree with this, When I was at hobberz house and was talking to gandy, one of the major things he said was that sometimes if it's just at a local bar/club they will tell you to get up and have a mix. This means your probably going to be using whatever gear they have at the time, with music you probably don't know. You need to be ready to deal with anything they throw at you!
