nothing wrong with the new or old software if you know how to use it properly / effectively? Sorts all my music into artist / album folders and renames the track how i want it to according to id3 tags. can import to rekordbox from it. does the job. for me anyway

there is nothing wrong with itunes. just people who don't like/adjust to change very well

it doesn't matter what genre you mix they all use the same core skills

firstly click songs up the top to take it back to the listing style then go view -> show sidebar that should make it look mostly like it used to

a lot of Australian artists use soundcloud & facebook as their main channels so if you follow them on those 2 you'll be able to get links from there as to where you can buy / download tracks

for around your budget you could pick up something like a second hand pair of cdj 350s + djm 350 in a roadcase. You can mix from cd's, USB's, as well as hook them up to the computer for HID/MIDI control if that's your thing

they are very bass heavy. For production you want a flatter sound ideally

Didn't mind it at all, as Tomy said nice weird vibe going on. Only comment i can think of is it sounded fairly quiet compared to a lot of other tracks

He means for it to show up in online radio station listings / catalogs rather than having to find the link from ADJF. It is something I can look into but also brings issues such as royalties and licensing, scheduling etc to become fully legit. Which from the past when we tried to setup regular time slots we don't have enough people interested enough to do a weekly set to be worth it. The way it's being used at the moment is people are jumping on when they feel like it because nobody else is using it. If we wanted to become legit I would need a bunch of people who want to do regular sets at specific times, then I could set up schedules so the Pre records stop at the exact time they want to play so it is all smooth - instead of cutting over someone mid mix. This all requires a lot more effort on Cupe and myself to make it all happen like this and for the amount of interest people are showing combined with out already busy lives I can't warrant that effort right now

The i5 isn't older than the i7.. The i7 is just a higher range than the i5 in the core i series. There is more to CPU than clock speed - which is what most people try and sell their processors on. The one with higher clock speed is not always better
