That's my point. You can update firmware but i don't think they would release a firmware update that gives the 2000 all the features of the nexus. That would defeat the purpose of the nexus

I don't think that every feature would be coming across to the 2000, otherwise they wouldn't be bringing out a nexus - it would just be a firmware update for the original 2000 then?

yer they are, but you can adjust the stands up to head height. + trying to put my spare time into improving keyboard / production skills so it works better this way. I'll eventually get better monitors and put my current ones either side of DJ setup, new ones either side of computer for production

i just did speed tests on iphone (wireless) and my wired desktop. same wifi. same results. Net speed is roughly 12mbps. Most routers are n type these days. which depending on quality of router is 100-300mbps+ The only part that is 'slower' is you get is maybe a few milliseconds more for the data to get to your phone, but its arriving at the same bandwidth speed. the only time the net speed will be slower on wireless is if your router is very badly configured or is absolute rubbish / faulty

wired v wireless won't really make any difference to your internet speed. It will only really affect the speed of data transfer between devices on your network. Because the wireless connection is faster than your internet connection, presuming your network isn't overloaded (which i doubt it would be) it won't really make a visible difference. Wrapping up, that net speed will work for skype

Long story short. Upgraded within the program from 1.6.2 to 2.0.1. It broke a bunch of shit. Only installer i had to downgrade to was 1.5.1 but it has bugs that were fixed in the 1.6 versions. So i'm basically asking if anyone has a newer installer saved on their computer that is older than v2 but newer than 1.5.1. Pioneer take the old versions off their site by the looks of it any as it's a free program it didn't really get re-hosted anywhere. If you have a 1.6 version still kicking around in your downloads folder if you could upload it to sendspace or something and give me the link it would be much appreciated
