  1. I find USB easier for clubs, but the 350s have Such a small screen compared to the larger models that CDs may be easier for your decks. Not sure though coz I have never used 350s (only 850s and above)
  2. You shouldn't play anything that is lower than 320kbps mp3 quality
  3. downloaded. 1st
  4. yes but once you have it down pat it is better in some ways as you don't have to touch the record when beatmatching
  5. google+ looks similar to skype group chat
  6. it will be back up as soon as some paypal issues are sorted
  7. the scope of this is a pretty large. You might be able to do a group video chat style thing, but you could do group a skype chat style thing, but with so many people streaming the video your going to run into bandwidth issues in getting decent quality + no lag with all the feeds. Maybe not you if you have awesome internet at your studio, but not everyone has great net and they will run into bandwidth issues fairly quickly. there is also things like uStream/livestream, but you can't see the other people, only chat via text. And you can't really secure it to people who have paid you either, it's a fairly public thing to anyone who knows the link. So that makes it hard to charge people to watch. Would be a good way to live broadcast for free and have text feedback though. As for hooking into the security cameras that is a whole new thing - without anymore details i would say no. it might be possible but effort to do so in most situations + my minimal knowledge about your setup i would say no.
  8. it's not just musically different. Part of what they are saying is they go throwing the word/label 'trap' when it has nothing to do with the origins of the word, like the older stuff did
  9. just a bit trappy
  10. you never disappoint! this is brutal
  11. yer you've chosen one of the hardest genres to learn with as hip hop vocals vary so much compared to alot of other electronic genres where the vocals are all warped for you already to sit nicely
  12. As far as finding the bpm of the acapella. either scan the normal song in serato and it will give you the BPM. Acapellas that are released aren't always the same speed. You could listen to the acapella and tap out the speed, I have an app on my iphone that you tap on the screen and it gives you the speed. also the same on pioneer mixers. if you wanted to make a production you could use a program like fruity loops, ableton, logic, etc to sync them together. If you wanted to use the decks but your having trouble beatmatching them you could cheat and use a calculator to help find the % adjustment needed. How good are you with math?
