  5. Just tried it out. Not too bad. Good that it's all HTML5 - I hate excessive flash content. It's the same thing when facebook brings in changes. Every kicks and screams but after a week people learn to use the new interface / get over it and life goes on as normal
  6. this. Also I still don't have a webcam

  11. I didn't feel the jog to be an issue. Although I've only used it in comparison to 1000s /2000s. Doesn't feel that different IMO. Other diffetrnces: -link: can connect 1 USB and access it from both decks or connect a laptop with rekordbox as track screen -screen: tilted and larger -slip mode: in vinyl mode, song keeps playing underneath when your scratching / touching platter, so it doesn't fall out of time -quantised looping - snaps your loops to nearest beat to help keep them in time -900 has a HID mapping for traktor and serato. The 850 has HID but only serato mapping atm -not sure what the 900 is like but the pitch fader on the 2000 has less friction you could say -you can use wide pitch adjust mode in All modes on the 900. The 850 only allows you to do it in cd (and midi I guess) mode Even with all that though I have 3 850s and are extremely happy with them
  12. Also head units look kinda shit in ba/bf falcons coz you can't take the old one out due to it being integrated into the air con
  13. It is fairly straight forward - however you can also get ford to do it.. will probably end up around 150 bucks though. Headphones seem unsafe while driving to me as you need to be able to hear noises outside the car.. but that's just me. Not sure what the laws on it are either

  15. that is some insane shit
  16. What gremmis said or you can get an adapter from ford for the ba/bf models so you can plug aux in i'm pretty sure. I'm suggesting these because they are probably the same price and will sound better. I've only ever heard one pair of speakers that didn't require external power and they were so small and tinny they weren't worth listening too. After a bit of homework, you can either get the adapter cable 2 ways: -dirt cheap off ebay - however this doesn't have the pre-amp and apparently can get a bit of noise and sound quiet -get the proper kit from ford - includes a pre-amp. Apparently it's around 80 bucks. In both cases you can install it yourself. the cable plugs in where the fuse box is and runs over the steering column then the pre amp box (if you get the proper kit) sits where the plastic panel near your left knee is. Apparently there is a dedicated spot for it The cable then runs into the tissue box area. I'd say that is the better way to go and you also don't have speakers flying around in the car if you brake / accelerate hard and/or crash so it's safer In terms of quality it will go speakers powered from ipad -> fm transmitter -> cheap adapter -> genuine ford adapter
  17. Agree with anarchy about the age thing... Let people judge you as they would anyone else It is a good track man, keep it up

  21. haven't used one but i imagine they have the same build quality as the other pioneer mixes so should be fairly solid
  22. The reason these systems look even more stupid to Australians is we don't have anything like this that is regulated on a per DJ basis - I don't know any DJ who pays licensing fees as an individual. I know the clubs / radio stations do though edit: the club / venue is supposed to have an ARIA licence of some sort. If they don't, I think the individual (DJ) is supposed to. Not 100% sure though
