  1. Seems to work pretty smoothly. It uses a more modern UI kinda like the new Facebook app. Also has a timeline feature so you can read from newest to oldest post and they stay in the list after you've read them. So definitely some improvements in use Not necessary to buy, but I got it while it was on special for 99c
  2. Not sure with android version, but iPhone one is complete revamp
  3. For all you mobile ADJF users, Tapatalk 2 is out for iPhone and android Features a new UI only thing it's lacking at the minute is moderator functions (which only will affect staff anyway) and this is apparently being fixed, so feel free to upgrade if you desire It is released as a separate app so feel free to grab it on the app / play store of you desire

    TOTD?

  5. Not personally into prog house much,, With your attitude towards this you are much like me - won't release anything to public until you're completely happy with it and is up to a certain standard. For a first release I think it's a top effort. Keen to see you improve during the year
  6. and a solid hour of deep house vibes is over
  7. I had the mixtrack pro as my first piece of equipment. Was good to learn on. Personally haven't had a play with the Pioneer one but it seems to have a few more buttons and what not to be mapped out which makes it potentially better. The sampler buttons look cool and could be mapped to hot cues as well. However when you are just starting out you won't need to be using these advanced functions when getting your core skills down. That being said either is a fine choice for starting out. Do you have a DJ store you can go to to have a play with both?
  8. Listened to a fair bit of it dude, Beatmatching etc fairly tight and all that, won't go into specifics there. However i'll say this. If your aiming at gigs a few things i'll mention: -In the DJ world "you're nobody until you're a somebody". So they are always going to hire the 'somebody' (whether that is someone with rep in the area, the owner/promoters mate, etc.) for the peak time (and most other slots tbh) slots over you. This applies no matter how good you are compared to the other DJs, as not many people know you. Perhaps maybe aim at getting an opening / warm up slot by sending a warm up style set instead of a set full of 'bangers'. Maybe something a bit more laid back, 'boppy' / tech / commercial styled stuff that the club would play early in the night. Obviously the style depends on what club your aiming at - get a grasp of what gets played early in the night and aim your focus more at that kind of stuff. DJ sets these days don't hold much weight in getting gigs as anyone can make a perfect set on the computer and send it in - so in the event a club promoter listens to your DJ mixtape, its going to be more about what you are playing than being technically good mixing wise. Hopefully this has helped you and you can use this info to your advantage - all the best
  9. Quick File Renamer Lite (Mac) Free Batch File Renamer.
