  1. I have never used either, however from a quick read on the net this is what i found (all the below is quoted): -62, you can only assign one type of filter to both sides at any one time - as that's the only option. you can only select one filter at any one time. with the 92, you can select any of the 3 filters on either side to use at any time in any combination. so you can use HP on the left and LP on the right if you wanted. whereas 62 you'd have to use HP and HP, as there's not an option to do it otherwise. -the 92 has an active crossfader circuit and Penny & Giles fader so its good for scratching. The 62 only has a passive crossfader circuit so its not very responsive for cutting. -The 92 has a crossfader curve rotary pot where as the 62 only has a button to select sharp or soft corssfader curve.

  3. hitting the cue butting is unnecessary in the way he is using the hot cues.. the track is paused when he is hitting the hot cues, so they only play for the length that he holds the button in, then returns back to the cue point when you let go of the hot cue. to get a hot cue to play on by hitting it when the track was originally paused, you need to hold it in then hit the play button. In summary - hitting the cue button does nothing in this instance
  4. Yer i'm a bit skeptical, but if you were buying lots of tracks from the label throughout the year it could work out pretty economical. Fair few big names signed so you'd be getting plenty of decent content. Might look at it if i cancel my djcity subscription considering i don't really play anything close to what they put up anymore
  5. Taken from https://drip.fm/dirtybird dirtybird records presents the Bird House, a private membership service for superfans who want a more exclusive connection to the label. Membership gets you new releases, special versions, dubs, edits, live mixes, production tips and unreleased gems from the entire dirtybird family including Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Eats Everything, Catz 'n Dogz, J Phlip and many more. All members will receive links to WAV and MP3s of everything released plus exclusive music that is never released to the public. We provide advance info on upcoming events and discount or even free admission when possible. We also try to work with software and hardware companies to get discounts for our members on things such as Ableton Live and studio gear. The Bird House provides a great value as the downloads we deliver would cost quite a bit more than $10 month on the main DJ websites and you can't even get all of the versions we will have here on any retail site. Basically, there is no other way besides moving into VonStroke's guest house to get a more inside track on what is going on with the label!

  21. You can create a cue sheet to split the file. How to create a cue sheet is explained here http://techie-buzz.com/how-to/how-to-cr ... sheet.html OR you can use a bit of software to make it 'easier' (if your not into using notepad) http://cuemaster.org/ Then run it through a cue sheet splitter program such as http://www.medieval.it/cuesplitter-pc/menu-id-71.html (NOTE: haven't tried or tested that program) The file isn't reprocessed this way = no loss of quality (i.e. re exporting a lossy file as lossy again). Also names the mp3's to what you set. #winning
