  1. rule2 of Djing: never trust the bpm counters. never.
  2. depends what the costume was and if they wanted me to partake in the festivities
  3. using ableton or another DAW (Logic etc.) may make it a bit quicker. other than that i haven't really tried this myself as i just always do the beatmatching on the CDJs
  4. I've done the costume thing, but they were always for friends parties so it was all g
  5. also check out the aria dance / singles charts to see what the average punter considers dope music to be at the present, and club charts to see what aria chart DJs think is dope atm
  6. Nice work finally getting something up! props for that Some things to improve on technically: transition into americano was messy. i'd say watch your phrasing and levels. also vocal clases on a couple of transitions. Besides that your beatmatching is alot better, so well done on that part! also i would say if your going to be sending this to a club, i'd change the track list up. these are all tracks i would drop in a commercial set this time last year, so you want the club owner to show you have freshest of content, not stuff that was popular and has been raped and no longer being played. You which is what people want to hear when they go out. I'd say hold off and once your 18 hit up a few clubs where you plan on sending the mix to get the vibe of what they are playing at the venues before you send anything in.

  9. For people into Die Antwoord, they released their latest single's acapella for free on their site - Dis Iz Why I'm Hot http://www.dieantwoord.com/download_why ... apella.php will put a bunch more of good ones up when i get some time
  10. no probs
  11. @Gremmis All the large pio players are all pretty much the same size man. I have cdj 850s and djm700. I bought the case from djwarehouse that fits my gear pretty well. I think your best bet would be to get that and put padding in the mixer section to accommodate for the smaller mixer. You will struggle to find a case to fit full size cdjs and a fit a smaller than 12" mixer with no extra padding Also ps 1st post for you! welcome to the forums, feel free to post a thread up in intro section to let everyone know your new
