Join speaker to your home wifi if you haven't already. Name speaker something more readable than default name (can redownload manual from Internet if you lost it) Speaker shows up under airplay options in iTunes, as well as the play to options under devices menu in windows 8. Will go into more detail when I get home if needed. Gandy, speaker is pretty decent for its size. You can also go next model up which has subwoofer in, for a bit more punch. It also has 3.5mm in, so I can use it as an external speaker for my tv as well. O and USB if you wanna directly plug an iPod in

Will look into that tonight, need a good radio app to go with my most recent purchase: Got a pioneer wireless speaker. Can send audio using DLNA to the speaker wirelessly from within audio applications on the surface Also works from iPhone, computer etc. via airplay

Moved most of my notes from various other sources into onenote with skydrive sync on the weekend. OneNote on the RT is so good.

True, haswell will bring battery life improvements. I'm going to wait it out on this model,, rumours going around there is an LTE version coming next year. I was trying to get a win8 tablet with 4G originally, but there were no good ones, so the surface with 4G would be mint. Can then get a data sharing plan with my phone

You sacrifice battery life (an important factor in a tablet IMO) with the pro, as you're powering a lot more. The RT lasts all day no probs.

Never owned an iPad for comparison. However I bought it to use email, calendar, type notes at Uni etc. iPad is still better for creativity apps at this stage, as MS store is still lacking about. But for what I wanted it for (productivity & IT stuff on the go etc.) The surface fitted my needs.

JMC is known for its music courses. However although these courses may be good,, a lot of people are self taught by just lots of dedication and practice, without any formal qualifications. Just something to think about.

Hoepfully this leads to something positive for LA (and the electronic music scene as a whole).

Sticky/faulty buttons, especially cue & play buttons.. Ensure all buttons work and feel good. Also try a few discs, and check for Errors/skipping when loading and playing said discs. Also check over to see if they are Generally looking beaten up, any dints from possible drops, large scratches etc.

The mk2 has silver buttons instead of black. It also has "MK2" written near the top. I'd get receipts for the 'service'.
