Go to roaringapps.com to check all your apps. Logic Pro 9 reports it's compatible. NI haven't updated their site to indicate it is supported yet. 3rd party 32-bit plugins should work as long as you don't upgrade to logic pro x. Also make sure you check your soundcard is compatible. I'm holding off for a bit simply because I don't have time to check everything is compatible yet before I upgrade.

Yer my laptop macbook was 2600, but there is no PC equivalent + the same specs get better performance on Unix based OS'es compared to Windows. Also retina screen is 2nd to none. Nice buy Now start making house and we can work on a collab when i'm not hectic busy

Agreed. Lots of omissions. However a list of 10 is a list of 10 I guess, you can't include everyone.

The apple servers are getting slammed hard (nohomo), so it's gonna download fairly slow until the hype dies down.

Personally I'd never play their stuff, regardless of time. But to answer above q: no I wouldn't play them at 11pm even if it's an hour before close. Big room and 11pm don't mix

DJ Warehouse / StoreDJ (both in Richmond area) are your best places to go to in Melbourne. I'd stick with the Pioneer gear + some half decent JBLs (or equivalent) for PA's.
