Im also kinda inclined to agree with feedme about the art form of DJing, 2 deck mixing isnt an 'art' form, although this doesn't mean it requires skill.... in the same way being a gun soccer player isnt an art form, yet it still requires skill to me, for it to be an art form, your creating something from nothing, and expressing yourself through this. The only way i can tihnk of this being done in a live setting, would be kinda like how araabmuzik does it, but having said that i dont think i could sit through more than 15mins of one of his sets; too much going on and not enough fluidity (like u would get in a regular DJ set) i respect Feed Me for coming out and saying what he has said. Its good to see proper artists not getting caught up in the hype and losing their own foundations Basically agreeing that the technical side (bar your embers etc) is not an art, however the music journey of a good set is an art form.
