Yeah for sure, i actually want to get an 8 inch powered pa speaker for mixing at home as you usually have a larger pa as monitor in clubs.

I just think as a crate and for simple mixing serato does it better, is also more stable and has a better layout. Each to their own but serato is number one for a reason, i dont use either anymore. You will be happy with serato matty!

why? it sounds like he wanted something that would allow him to have access to digital music without having to burn cd's or have cdj's with usb functionality. and at same time allow him the ability to use turntables in the future. so how could serato be more suited than traktor? i would say neither is more suited than the other Because Serato for that usage is more suitable? If you are after more virtual decks, lots of effects and capabilities with pads like Maschine etc i would go for Traktor.

Tbh for your use of serato it will be more suiting than traktor i reckon.

There was already a thread for this man. Few points which may sadly be a reality check for you. - It's primarily an image/criteria thing, they will be looking for different stereotypes to fill the spots. - Obviously if you present yourself well and be really friendly and whatnot it will help. - I would suggest either go in with one of two tag lines, either "I really love music but know nothing about djing" or go for the wildcard slots which you should say "i know how to dj but am looking for that extra push to really help me get into the scene". - Try and get there early or you will be lined up for ages.

I just see it as 2x a normal stereo, only the second day is a mission because of being scat lol. Would be sick if they target different genres on different days though. Have a second mainstage full of trance would be nice on the second day or something.

I dont see how two days makes it better, more potential for a lineup to be overstretched across two days. Although it could help bring our more bigger names.

It depends on whether its a full on primarily strangers event or more a gathering of friends. One guy used to throw massive parties and charge everyone 5 bucks, we used to get a big setup and djs etc all booze provided.
