  1. I first started DJing with hiphop and scratching/tricks around 85bpm shit Which seems to be what most people have trouble mixing. I duno, I learned fairly differently to most of the digital guys on here. But anyway, knowing tricks and scratches is like the backspin trick when shit isn't mixing well on CDJs You can always drop any hiphop track with a tricky little scratch whether it matches or not
  2. yeah see I have like 2TB of music, and that's after losing my music hdd to death And all I really listen to is ADJF radio lel
  3. That's how I am with most mixes these days But that's probably because I don't limit myself to a specific genre or area of tunes And I get sick of hearing tunes I like too many times over and over
  4. Month is half over. Stop being fagits

  9. I checked all the tracks before I played them. Like, it was the first time I'd really listened to some on the day but I wasn't just picking random tunes mid mix

  14. As long as it comes under Techno as the top heading it's all good man! This is about searching new sounds, finding new tunes and basically getting in and having a mix. Not to mention we have unlimited soundcloud that needs use!
  15. Not restricted to just one mix during the month either I just up'd a second one in the same genre. Don't be slack fagits

  18. Jay Rock, who is meant to be the next TDE member to drop an album, releases yet another single for his still untitled upcoming release. The other singles were great (including but not limited to the excellent “Parental Advisory”), but “90059” — named after Jay Rock’s home zip code — is something crazy, plain and simple. The ever-hungry Jay Rock utilizes vocal modulation and balancing to create an unnervingly ruckus sound. This combines with his sharp, thoughtful, yet hard-as-hell lyricism to make yet another reason to get excited about the album. In fact, this may be the final straw. Rock, we need this album, stat. These singles got all of us too hyped. Peep the hot new single below, and be on the lookout for Rock’s new album coming soon. Facebook Twitter Soundcloud – Charlie Johns Source
  19. Earl Sweatshirt has had quite the year in his own rite, even if, by the sounds of his latest album, it’s been a lonely one. Plucked from 2015’s I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside, “Off Top” is a somber ballad set to uneasy and fuzzy production where Earl is probably the most transparent we’ve ever seen him. The California emcee drops bar after telling bar outlining the changes that his life has seen, in terms of his music, family life, and fame. My personal favorite, and what perhaps sums up Earl’s feelings the best, is near the end of the track when he tackles the hype that is stapled to any music he releases: “I’m only happy when there’s static in the air ’cause the fair weather fake to me.” Enjoy Earl’s Beavis and Butthead/Schoolhouse Rock-esque visuals below. 20. oh maybe it was the mix I forgot to write one up for :> Too bad can't remember now.
  21. I've used a zoom h4n several times and rate it. It's a bit hefty for a 'handheld' device, might not be easy to carry around. But it does come with a plastic hard case to protect it so can leave it in a bag. If you've ever heard my interviews and shit for uni, 9 times out of 10 it was on a h4n.
  22. nah no repeats there's a tracklist
