  1. yo you changing from yer techies?
  2. hey source does trainspotter do that? version 2 is out now. ive installed but havent used it yet, but it has some sort of discogs search function but i dont know how much it can do to match unnamed tracks

  5. i love how at 6.49 he still spins and redrops for the intro teaser. i see a lot of traktor scratch and serato djs (esp now that dicers are out) use hot cues instead to keep going back to start
  6. otay im not in the dubstep circles so i dont know whats considered good but i enjoyed this set. yes the scratching at the start gets played but dont worry he stops
  7. a dicer video with blakey from UK. showing what you can do to spice up a commercial set. i love what he does to justice's DANCE and brninging in janet. starts at 1.50
  8. oops my bad melb & perth are done. brissy and adelaide are next
  9. okay looked it up myself (and no ididnt go to basement and woke up regretting it and even more so now). the tone nightclub thing today is going to be james pants along with simon caldwell. so i dont think pbw is involved (whether he'll be there could be possible). and i found out who CDR are. they run sessions at various nightclubs which allow unsigned people to get their music played at venues with other music creators or lovers. and its national. http://www.cdraustralia.com/ and on some of these sessions where they join up with Red Bull, like this one. they pitch the red bull music academy (short term music and sound lessons). the next one is in tokyo, sounds awesome. application form here http://www.redbullmusicacademy.com/apply apparently james pants is an ex alumni so for all the producers in syd this might be worth checking. and its going around the country (well im sure of perth and melb anyways)

    Hi guys

hey yo any genres in specific? have you got other gear? or plan on getting other gear? or you stepping off for a bit?
  17. just a reminder this thread is about going to your iphone/ ipod/ discman/ computer media player and hitting shuffle. not what you feeling or listening to today (thats the other fred TOTD). anywhos.... Busta Rhymes - Don't Believe 'em from bigg busta's last album. not particularly my type of track. similar to the pop rnb of that time (akon hook and getting a guest rapper from the south). that album was aiight but had too many crap collabos. i dont mind the collabos because m a fan of the posse track in the hip hop genre. busta on the third is prob the highlight of the track.
  18. yellow
  19. i go for blacktown spurs
  20. yeah that mphazes album is gold. i posted about it the week it came out (jb sold it the day or a couple days before release they always seem to).
  21. ha ha yeah just lingo. parra is parramatta, a city in western sydney. i was bigging up my preferred league team paramatta eels. westie is a derogatory/ joking term to residents of west sydney, an area that has several stigmas. criminals, drug users, drug dealers, poor etc. Glory is an australian local soccer team.
  22. ?? we dont call rugby league soccer go parra
  23. you dont need a 3rd deck (albeit that adds even more flavour flav). but isnt that just what both i and street cleaner said. mine was pick a track which has an awesome build (okay i didnt say to pitch up while its building but yeah that would also work) then just before drop a tad of silence, then bang drop your dubstep. but it will have to be a drop part of a dubstep track or street cleaners suggestions of using a loop and fiddle it to in essence make a build, and then as per above.
  24. oh and cant get cloud at work so no review till later
  25. whatever genre the bulk of the tracks are. dont worry i get it wrong everytime then till cupe to move it, and then say move it back...
