I prefer to do a few lyrical tracks every now and then. I like to keep the same vibe if going lyrical to lyrical too unless the music makes it work really well, i.e wouldn't play a track with a upbeat vibey message behind it with one that's flat out for the ego feeders after each other.

I think you need to make a purchase with STEP1. Time to get more tunes in the hold bin!

sounds about right side note, why would this be released as "Pioneer" though? I'm assuming the sale hasn't completely been finalised but i would've thought this would've been marketed under the new company or something Think they would still be keeping the pioneer name with the acquisition This ^ .. It was an investment company that bought it.

Try and see if it fits in between some more well received tracks.. Build up the mix with some known tunes then throw a track you're really digging (if it fits) to see if it'll get some attention. The only way to find out is to try, and it's a pretty wicked feeling pulling something new like that off. Be prepared to mix out of it at the next breakdown if it's not well received and you can't go wrong in my opinion!

I know with the CDJ900's I had to get a .tsi file for Traktor that matched with em. Was going to look into re-mapping the auto-loop buttons to cue points too which woulda been sick but never carried on with Traktor.
