I just tried mixing in mono split, your a fucking champ Jaz. I have been struggling the last week or so, as soon as switched to that I fucking found my groove again. +rep bra how do you set that up?? on my djm800 if i select mono on the headfone selector, i get both tracks in 1 ear i think? am i doing it wrong? lol make sure you have the master cue on (the furthest cue button to the right), that will be your left ear (if i remember correctly), then make sure u have the headphones channel set to mono split, then what ever channel your cueing have the yellow cue light on (this will be your right ear)... then adjust the mixing/cue/master knob to what feels right, half way is usually perfect let me know how u go

if your budget is tight i say go with average CDJ's for now but with a good mixer, DJM700 or 800, then get the good CDJ's later Because good CDJ's and a shocking mixer will probly benefit you less as your just starting out on CDJ's and only need the basics that 400's could easily provide you dude its a hard decision though i know lol...while your waiting/saving just check ebay and gumtree and forums everyday waiting for an awesome deal...thats how i scored all my stuff cheap

just be carefull with them man, if they are even real they will have an american power plug (changeable), american warrenty (useless if your in AUS) and the postage can be very high on them, i had a quick look as well for you...saw 1 for like $530 + $80 postage... its a little bit of a risk im not gonna lie but if it pays of its a big saving...saw a used 1 in AUS for just under 900 auction
