yea ive been defining commercial as cheese, which was then making it harder and harder to draw the 'cheese line' but yea i think thats right, cheese is the shit thats on the radio made by the talentless whales and commercial is separate to cheese obviously there is some grey areas where a song like levels i would probs now classify as commercial, even though it has been played to shit on the radio

One of the funnest gigs i have played was like a 2 hour set for like 4 close mates and just droped so much crazy shit and i actually done it for free and had 100% freedom and they loved it. They were like wtf omg this is crazy hahaha was hectic fun thats it people think they know what they like, but everyone thinks they want commercial & cheese its only when u start dropping good shit they realise that what they want is boring

As what has been said above, the two main contenders for headphones seem to the the hd-25 and the xd53. Both sound great, but you'll be best off going to your local store and trying them out yourself for personal preference think of it as an investment, they'll keep working for years!

the parties that i have done for mates have been pretty aweosme in that i have full creative freedom, if i do requests no one is really too pushy, but on the odd occassion a couple have been a little too pushy and i did what defkon said, basically said 'ill play it, but you gotta find it for me. theres my cd wallet, go through it and find the song ur after' she was happy with that, and i didnt have to waste time looking for it
