  1. Jeudi Records Home to some serious deep tunes coming out at the moment Featuring artists such as: Adana Twins, Turntablerocker, Monte, Doctor Dru, CamelPhat https://soundcloud.com/jeudirecords https://soundcloud.com/jeudirecords/turntablerocker-someone-needed This is one of the tracks off the latest EP set to come out on Beatport shortly
  2. Not necessarily if you're downloading from online music stores suck as beatport. The remixes on those sites have been approved by the artist and are legal to download
  3. Epic bump
  4. MPC's and the NI Maschine are pretty popular for this sort of thing. I know sampology uses the mpc in his DJ sets Also bass kleph uses the maschine a bit in his DJ sets, check them both out on youtube
  5. Might pay to watch this: Click this link to go to straight to the part of the vid that is relevant to your question http://youtu.be/2bBPGkd3Zfk?t=1m22s

  9. the thread was discussing the update, not how 'ghey' it is. don't be an idiot
  10. What model CDJ? That may also help us answer properly
  11. The music that is submitted to beatport depends on what labels submit stuff to them.. Yes they may get a few of the larger, more commercial labels,, however i doubt smaller labels will stop selling music on there because of this. The music will still be there
  12. niceeeeeeee
  13. We all know at least half of that dinner is mine
  14. They monitor stuff like this
  15. Yer that would suck Tomy, it's disappointing how much piracy there still is out there. Especially for someone small (in the scheme of the entire music world on the web) like yourself trying to run a label as well as getting your own tracks signed, must be very frustrating
  16. it's hosted on vimeo. we have the tags for it.. However it's a private video so i can't embed it.
  17. Type 'Melbourne sound' into any search thing and you'll get thousands of people pumping out the same sort of stuff
  18. Not playing out (at the moment) Looking to get back into it when I get time though. Will hit you up when I am actually DJing again and have time to do it
  19. Hold in alt when booting. This brings up a boot menu. Select the USB drive and hit enter
  20. Seems easy enough BUT there is no cd/dvd drive on the MacBook Air, hence my situation here. Woops! Didn't read that part @ 5am this morning lol If you have the snow leopard disc, what you can do is use an 8GB or larger USB drive and create a bootable USB using the cd. I can write up some doco on how to do that tonight (I'm at work) Another option is using another macs DVD drive (eg yours if you have one) and starting the MacBook Air in target disk mode and it can reads the disk from the other mac (can't remember if you can do this over network though, or if you need a FireWire cable, which you probably don't have) USB option is probably easiest to walk you through, find an 8GB or larger USB that you can format and ill write up some instructions tonight for you PS you do have access to another mac, right?
