i reckon choosing your own tracklist is half the fun in these battles. makes you go find dope tracks and get some variety in the mixes

all usb 3 ports should be backward compatible. just some devices that are being plugged in look like they are having a couple of issues. mainly audio interfaces too by the looks of it

So wait you were powering it purely off USB before, and now your using the external power pack that came with it? That could have been the issue if it was trying to draw too much power from the USB port

for dells it is F2 right after pressing the power button. pretty sure there is no option to force ports back to usb2 though (at least not on the model you have ysm) as far as the incompatibility goes, it seems like more of a driver issue than anything, have you tried different versions of the drivers? also checking for the latest updates to drivers on NI site
