I have to move my headphone cable around near the jack to get them to work, so the problem is just as evident on my headphones too hobberz. Couldn't find a gold plated L-shaped plug anywhere though, so i'm just gonna solder a new plug on the end and try find an L shaped adapter. Or if anyone knows of a 3.5 (or a 7.5) mm L shaped gold plated adapter - linky

After speaking to a bunch of people and owning these myself, I'd say these are the best you'll get without going in ear monitors. But the catch is when you wear earplugs under your cans its going to dampen the cans as well which might make them hard to hear for you. catch22

It's fairly likely you'll find a 350 package with a djm 350 for sale, I'd say jump on that as its fairly good beginner kit

CDJ 350s are a decent piece of starting kit man. Has all the basic features you need to learn how to mix. CDJ 1000s are overpriced used IMO

I agree its better to do it, was just an option if he didn't want to spend a bunch of extra time on it. By the time i run my songs through platinum notes, MIK, iTunes then recordbox it takes a while on my computer OK

WAV is 10MB / minute. So your mix is about half hour long. Will compress to around 50MB

BTW, if they have 1000's you cant hook them up to Traktor via usb cords, a timecode set up is needed. If the club has 900's/2000's than why not let him play off Traktor and you take 2 UBS sticks and plug them into the decks and you can play off USB sticks. This ^ it isn't compulsory to use recordbox to analyse files either, you can just make folders and copy the files on. Just make sure you format the sticks to fat32 first

You might pick up a used CDJ 350 pack around 1k if you hunt. May be a tad more though. Just a thought

Probably heat issues. Once the sensors reach a certain temp is shuts computer down. maybe cpu fan/heatsink is faulty or still a virus potentially
