  1. welcome bra
  2. This. Hope it works out for you bud
  3. Yer I hear they tend to just lose their 'click' after time and eventually get to the stage where yours are now
  4. He does sell his own tracks as well
  5. I was aware of ghost writing and paying for soundcloud plays/comments, which boosts your result in search results therefore more people listen etc. Haven't heard many people paying for people to do beatport purchases though. It's getting crazy the lengths people go to, so they get exposure, even if it means not using their own work, and paying for 'popularity', undermining the real talent out there
  6. synced in chat. Tight mixing. Heavy wubs. just what i like
  7. Heard them drop centipede @ future. Was intensely epic (at the time anyway)
  8. That has a fairly straightforward drum pattern to learn with i guess So does this http://soundcloud.com/nickyromero/daft-punk-aerodynamic-nicky
  9. the only thing having your laptop there is you can't use your keyboard to type song names. but nice setup nonetheless man
  10. Try keep on topic in srs threads bro
  11. http://www.dancingastronaut.com/2012/04 ... the-month/ Been hanging out for this ever since I heard a couple of these unreleased tracks @ future. Hopefully its a free release like 100% no modern talking. Thoughts?
  12. Browsing the electro top 100 for tracks to buy, nek minute nearly buys own track
  13. because sol manages to break cables. so having a 3.5mm would make it easier to replace. And your right about it getting yanked out from the headphones easily, although in some ways its better for a cable to get pulled out than damage the actual cable itself. Still unnecessary though
  14. nice man, digging it! has a big room vibe to it
  15. sounds legit. nice edit on the prodigy beat too
  16. He mixes all the hardstylez things
  17. A guy I know uploaded a bootleg to soundcloud 8 months ago, which has turned out to be pretty successful: http://soundcloud.com/dj-vitz/lolas-theme-vitz-2011-bootleg Look what he found on beatport today: http://www.beatport.com/track/lolas-boo ... ix/3255001 Someone called "miami mashups" has stolen his track and uploaded it as their own, and is now charting at 86 on the electro charts. Think he is going to try contact beatport about it, but really this shouldn't be happening, an up and coming DJ/Producer from regional vic/nsw, and people are game enough to steal his stuff and claim it as their own EDIT: up to 85 on the electro chart now
  18. ^ this
  19. ^both of above are on the money. My tips: -mix a style you are familiar with/enjoy, and something that has a solid kick-snare intro/outro -loading the same song onto both decks is an easy way to begin learning how to beatmatch -Ellaskins has good vids -PRACTICE - it takes time to get skills down pat -check out the learn to dj vids by Sarah main (sticky in the beginner section) Hope this helps
  20. Yes, it is $89 straight from their website - http://www.native-instruments.com/#/en/ ... tor-pro-2/ Would highly recommend Traktor, it and Serato are the two big players in DJ software. You need Serato hardware to use it though, so i'd definitely say traktor is the way to go sojn. You won't really find any better, and it is alot cheaper than it used to be, so no reason not to get it now
  21. Mitch
