Just culture of areas i guess. Even within aus, different towns have different predominant styles of music. Melb has a big house/tech scene, whereas in Sydney its more of an electro/dubstep scene. Just depends where you are I guess

Look at working with a club manager to advertise and start a new night maybe ? It's always hard to get gigs when your trying to go against the flow and try something different, but if its the music you love you have to persevere with it. Good luck with it man

Yer it was not long after i'd arrived there and he was using CDJs. I heard beats falling out of place and shit and he kept having to put his headphones back on lol

the problem is in the headphone cabling / jack and not the mixer in most cases.

this. i walked past his stage on the way to kill the noise and his mixing wasn't that clean imo.

He used CDJs for all of the future tour this year
