first gig where ive had a full on circle around the dancefloor at le club, while there is a 2-3 people at a time in the middle shuffling and pulling other random moves. This whole circle started when i put on some hard hitting electro at first, but then the shuffling dudes asked for dubstep. didn't hesitate, and shit got hectic. got to drop heaps more electro than normal. Probably dropped at least 10 adjf tracks too

You don't need to use icecast if you have a shoot cast server set up. Need to make another tutorial for if you have server. In butt where you put the icecast details, change connection type to shoutcast, and put in the details they give you for the server. Then give that a crack. It's difficult to explain by text on my phone lol

yer with pro link on the 900s/2000s you just rock up and plug your laptop in with a lan cable and your set. and seamless transitions are possible just having the next person play their first song with a usb or cd. I can see pioneer releasing a usb/hid only player, ditching the cd drive sometime in the not too distant future.

If sync isn't highlighted, it shouldn't be trying to match your tracks BPM's together. Strange. Will leave it to the more experienced in traktor, never really used the sync stuff in the brief time i actually used it and never had the issue your describing

just to clarify: sample rate = samples of audio taken per second. 1Hz = 1 sample per second. Think your normal cd these days being 44.1kHz = 44,100 samples per second. bit rate = amount of data/quality of each sample taken. higher the bitrate, the more precise each sample of audio will be

if i'm playing mainstream, i usually use songs in the 125-140 range (125 been lower end of pop-like songs i would choose, 140 being more dubstep-style remixes). Mostly use remixes more than originals as i tolerate them a bit more than the originals lol. Most have a decent intro you can mix in with
