Havent looked for a month or two (since i bought my gear) 1000s were still overpriced then, I doubt pricing has changed since. If your not in a hurry and can wait for a used pair to come around, 850s are dope for the price. And Better than 1000s IMO

Did a 21st tonight. Went fairly smoothly. Played chillout for the first hour and a bit then when they hit the lights, played mostly mainstream for the rest of the night. Was getting positive feedback from the crowd which was good. Only one screwup was one of the tracks I downloaded from dj city has a skip in it and it through my beatmatching out, and also caused a vocal clash which was pretty gay. Will have to remember to re download it.

The 1000s still have a waveform display, it's just a 100 dot display instead of a full colour LCD screen. I have 850s and when I went and played on 1000s I was fine, the layout is all the same, just no USB input, and for me there was hot cues instead of auto loops so yer. All pioneer players are similar so besides using CDs instead of USB its all the same stuff man Ps. burn your CDs with cd-text enabled if you haven't already, makes things heaps easier

On right now all weekend, i thought it was a jazz festival until i heard it start last night lol. So only found out about it yesterday (I can hear it from my house.) Its so easy to get around front gates as its in the middle of the bush so not really fenced off. Couple of mates sneaked in last night to check it out and said its basically a fruitpicker rave, might go check it out tonight after i finish DJing haha Looks pretty rare. beatport won't have much cheese that your looking for, it tends to sell more good music as already mentioned above, check: -cotd -ultimate playlist thread and: -hoddi's party thread -DJcity new release tracks - alot of stuff that gets put on there is cheese, so i browse the new release tracks and see what there is on offer -aria charts - see what is popular at the moment among the different genre charts, then go search those tracks in djcity or soundcloud -Music blogs -Soundcloud etc.

Already listened to this the other night and told you what i thought, Good, Fast mixing at the start to get your attention then falls into a nice rhythm. Very good mix, as we always hear from you Nice one mate
