  1. Thanks for having me on the show + thanks to all that tuned!
  2. Going live in 10
  3. I use a program called xld for audio conversion. Might be mac only though
  4. ADJF - fastest and most reliable IT support since fuck knows when
  5. assume you're running 64 bit? Check if that mscomctl.oxc file exists in the C:\windows\syswow64 directory If it does, try the following: open cmd as administrator cd C:\windows\sysWOW64 Regsvr32 MSCOMCTL.OCX should tell you that it succeeded registering the file PS haven't had this error or tried this solution myself, just a general knowledge thing
  6. Hey all, Bunker have been kind enough to invite myself down to be on their weekly radio show on TRNSMT.tv. Anditz and myself will be playing from 10-11pm tomorrow (Monday 15th Sep) for an ADJF double header full of diesel fueled techno madness. You can tune in at http://trnsmt.tv for the live video stream Check out recordings of previous shows @ http://trnsmt.tv/shows/bunker/ Give bunker a suss out @ https://www.facebook.com/bunkermusicmelb

    TOTD?

    still love this one
  8. Do you attend the night regularly? Normally how it works in this kind of situation - show the manager/whoever does the bookings that you frequent there and can bring friends. Then look at asking how to get a set there once you have a good relationship with the booking manager
  9. Forgot to post in here before. Played just before oxykon. Dosage of techno was high
  10. New hdd for music/samples/all audio things. Thunderbolt for that ultra speed
  11. Also the thing that annoys me about my desk is there is a back on it so you can't clamp anything to it. Hard to explain,, will get pics after work
  12. Most important thing is the height. You're pretty tall, so you want something that puts the decks at a comfortable height for you to mix on. Desk will need to support about 50kg, so anything relatively sturdy should be fine.
  13. How do you plan on connecting it all with a half active / half passive setup?
  14. Will give it a whirl tonight m8
  15. Haven't tried these personally, but fit the budget - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/headphones-dj ... ck/585574/ I have to go down to JB tomorrow for work, so I'll have a suss on if there is anything better available for budget
  16. Updated your post so the images are embedded
  17. Found this when looking for scale mode (re:other maschine thread). Pretty handy, but awkward to memorise compared to this on a keyboard. However you only really need major/minor. Also for 16 pads, if you have a scale mode you can fit 2 octaves on the pads.
  18. Ye I have the mk2 so I was using v2 straight out of the box
  19. Also just read - they are updating maschine software to integrate with these keyboards, and also add some of the new features of these keyboards into maschine (e.g. scale/chord mode) viewtopic.php?f=12&t=16057
  20. Was looking up for a nice way to load major/minor scales onto the maschine pads like you can on the ableton push. Seems it was a very popular request, however the only way people had achieved it was rewiring to ableton or using custom midi templates. Eventually came across this which was nice - can't wait for it to come out now! Good to see NI are looking at customer feature requests and listening. New features in Maschine 2.2 (coming November) Scales and Chords MASCHINE 2.2 extends Keyboard Mode with a new scale and chord engine – fully integrated into the MASCHINE workflow. Simply select your scale and start playing melodies on MASCHINE’s 16 ultra-sensitive pads that are always in key. Engage Chord Mode and play chords directly into your compositions. Arpeggiator MASCHINE 2.2 extends Note Repeat into a fully-functional arpeggiator. Play any number of notes and let MASCHINE turn them into a melodic pattern. Use the arpeggiator in combination with Scale and Chord Modes and get polyphonic performances from just one key – always in tune. What’s more, the output of the arpeggiator is recorded into the Pattern Editor – perfect for post-performance editing. Keyboard Integration MASCHINE 2.2 gives you full keyboard functionality within the MASCHINE environment. Press browse on your KOMPLETE KONTROL keyboard and the KOMPLETE Browser pops up on your computer screen, letting you select and load a sound directly into a sound slot in MASCHINE. Watch scales, chords, and arpeggios light up across KOMPLETE KONTROL’s Light Guide™, see the color of your sounds in MASCHINE directly on the keyboards, and get perfectly-mapped parameters instantly with Native Map™. 21. Agreed - from what I've read/experienced, the routing/rewire with traktor is better than serato
  22. I can answer some of your questions: Just had a look and there is a beat repeat in traktor - it's called beatmasher. Not sure what it's called in serato as I don't use it. As far as 'recommendations' for a setup, it's up to you how you want to run everything. VSTs aren't supported in most DJ software that I know of - you need to route your sound through ableton (or other) if you want to use VST effects
  23. Fixed video link
  24. End of video it says works with Komplete 9 too which is pretty cool. Looks pretty good, but I don't need one and won't be buying one anytime soon
