  1. Ever been to bounce audio in Prahran? Good record selection in store + good online shop. Records aren't on the online shop, but it's still good for gear. Johan is the man
  2. Dusky absolutely dominated their 4 hour Melbourne set, I assume this would have been on a similar level
  3. Are you doing the analysis before or after you put them into iTunes? You'll need to refresh the tags if they are already in iTunes when you run them through mixed in key
  4. I think a simple white adjf logo on black would look good
  5. Whoops forgot about this. ye you can do it using an audio track and the session record button. Not sure how to make it record 4 bars, then automatically start recording into the next clip. You'll can do it as one big take then split it to prep for your live performance, or manually kick off each clip recording. The APC may be able to help easily select which clip you want to record. As far as the whole process goes, ableton's site has a pretty good page covering all the recording functions (read through it the other day when I needed to learn something) https://www.ableton.com/en/manual/recording-new-clips/
  6. My ghetto booth for recording some vocal samples Edit: added 2nd pic in
  7. Dat Jeff Mills signature
  8. Nice vibe. Sounds clean.
  9. Nice work on this one man
  10. A fair bit could fall under hip hop too
  11. I don't download heaps of vocal tracks, but that's just the style of music I play in general. Not sure what that track is that you mentioned, but it is true in clubs some track can go better without vocal
  12. Truth. ADJF was the only place I saw this. Better things on the web to be looking at than even giving recognition to stuff like this.
  13. Watch short tutorials (5-20 mins) that focus on 1 element (eg a kick, snare, lead, fx) at a time. Pause it every minute or two and follow along. Get that element down, start watching another one to work on the next element. Build as you go to keep you interested. Massive tutorials making a whole track can be overwhelming
  14. I'm close by (from bendigo) so I'll definitely hit this up
  15. Andyman and Mitch b2b on the 29th #rotorcraft
  16. If you're in Melbourne this weekend, I highly suggest getting down to this event. Quality house music all night long, and the crowd that comes along always brings an awesome vibe. I'll be playing at some stage (set times TBC). Full details on RA: http://www.residentadvisor.net/event.aspx?655580
  17. Yer you can rip the time code cd to wav files and just use that
  18. Did not know these. Mind blown
  19. Nice work having nearly every track produced by a forum member Will give it a listen shortly
  20. Niceeeeee
  21. Yeah, pretty sure you can
  22. Lucky you!
