End of the day unless you have licenses or a lables pemission bootlegs and mixes put online are a breach of the usage of the music we own. When other sites can match soundcloud in bandwidth and the whole experience i will consider moving but most people Still use it, if you go the mixcloud avenue you could potentially be missing out on heaps of listeners.
Yeah i'm not sure you will be able to do much, it's (as far as i know) the same as itunes, you basically have to start over. Do you make mirrored playlists in folders first or just straight to rekordbox from a big pool of music?
Hey guys been meaning to put out a mix recently, so today i locked myself in my room and did this. 30 minutes, no fucking around, big electro anthems enjoy. http://soundcloud.com/goodboiis/goodboiis-september-electro
Makes you a better dj when you start in the smaller, local clubs man. I get the same shit in back rooms. Old and dodgy gear, shit monitors etc all part of the learning curve bro.
Sounds like you had a good night overall. If I may make a suggestion. Get a couple of tracks that build up from silence. Such as this one @0:36 Keep a folder with these emergency tracks. If the music stops, you may be able to recover a bit more smoothly. I fucking love that bootleg, play it every gig lol
