I am sitting here ready willing and drunk and want to do a mix. But just can't find a tune to start on. Somebody give me some inspiration to kick off an electro/Melbourne style of mix. I've got some good new tunes, but none seem to feel like a start....

I got aiff's with my last mix and had every intention of continuing doing so as I can normally tell the difference in lower quality music. But I really cannot tell enough difference between aiff and 320 mp3's. Plus the fact I source a considerable amount of my tunes from freebies from blogs and would have a mix of mp3's and aiff's. I have no problem with getting aiff's but until it become the standard I don't think it is worth it.

Not really an item that is sold much. Dick Smith for $200 is the cheapest from memory.

Main purpose for twitter is for teenage girls to follow the lives of their favourite celebrity. From my experience, no people who actually know each other actually use it. In saying that it is really useful for updates on things. Like concerts, tours, game/software releases etc. Whatever you may be interested in.

The ones that I said you shove all the way in, I was talking about the old classic 3m ones.... I use these all the time at work (all day). I could understand you wanting to cut the end off those ones. No need for expensive exotic ones. The cheapies work just as well if using the correct size (people have different sized ear holes) and inserted correctly. But they are not re-usable as they lose the attenuation ability with each use.

I must be doing something wrong cause I still do the exact same process? Type name in search, press enter, right click on song, add to playlist. Have I been doing this the hard way?

If ear plugs are sticking out your ears then they are not in properly. If you looks at yourself in the mirror and can see them they are not inserted enough.

I like iTunes. I love the features of it, the design and layout make it easy to navigate big libraries. Have tried the alternatives and none work as well. Never used DJ but knew it was there and would have used it where the need was there. If the get rid of the genius features then heads will roll.

Maybe could change the settings to "shift 1,2,3,4"? This normally clears the cue point. Not sure how/if this can be done as I have an S4 and just run with the default settings.

I don't think you can? That's one of the main differences with the S2 & S4. You could possible change the cue buttons to do this in your settings, but then lose the cue button functions, which to me are far more useful. Even then you would have to control the faders by software as you do not have the hardware to do that. Or add a F1(?) to control the full sample decks.

Some will have seen the video(s) I posted with the pics of the ADJF Meat. Just thought I would let people know about the website I used for it as it is quite handy and fun way to share pictures. The website is Animoto.com and all you do is upload the pictures and music and select a style you want. It even will upload straight to Youtube, SmugMug or Vimeo for you. Of course it isn't free. There is an annual subscription for it. Can't remember exactly what the amount is but not too over the top. Also upgrading to 720p videos has an extra cost associated with this.
