Also this is the first mix using Traktor's key detection. Although I still used the Camelot wheel as a visual aid for key progression. All sounds pretty good to me. Any other feedback on this?

All good for me too. Don't even mind the new version now. Some things do take a while to find that were easier to get to before, but not the real important stuff. Mixcloud is a lot better than it used to be.

I think the big difference with those at the top is personality. And this is pretty much the same with all forms of the entertainment industry. The superstars may not necessarily be technically proficient, or possess the vibe reading skills needed by the regular club DJ. But they something that makes them interesting and entertaining. From the always surprising song selection of the likes of Fatboy Slim or Skrillex. Antics of Steve Aoki or Diplo. Gimmicks of Deamau5 or Daft Punk. Regardless of their choice it is their personality that shines through. And this is something you have or you don't. You can't practise being cool and popular. Some people are just naturally charismatic and it shines through in their chosen art form.

Good idea. 1000 is a fairly good size. Some places I visit are 800 which is a touch small... Also hate to know how much that turntable is worth.

I wouldn't watch a live show. But a Youtube channel I definitely would watch and I think is a better idea.

I picked up my remote feed from behind the glove box is an unused plug I think is for reverse camera. No pops for me.

My goal was to have a competition spec (SQ) system for minimal outlay (still about $2k there but pretty cheap for what I have). Plus it's a DIY system. Not that I will compete. I just like good sounding tunes. Make the thread. I'll be there. Been playing with car audio stuff since I had a car.

Not really engine noise as such (alternator whine) more interference. I ran my speaker wires back along the passenger side next to the main power lines. About to pull the panels out and run wires all around the other side. I get a hiss/crackles on the front left speaker when the car is running. Without the car running it is fine. My gear is: JBL MS-8 processor Jaycar 4x100 & 1x1000 amps Hertz HSK165 splits front running active from 4x100 amp 5" Jaycar coax in the rear door 2x10" Fahrenheit 4 ohm dual voice coil subs

VE is a bitch to work on stereo wise. Still working on mine. But I got a series 2 with iPod connectivity so a bit different in that it doesn't use the iPods amplifier. Want to know more about how to go about doing this stereo hit me up as I am pretty familiar with it now. Still got to build a sub box before the Gold Coast meet up.
