SugarDumpling
Hey all,I wanted to learn how to mix and don't know where to start. Thought would be good idea to join a class or something in Sydney. Can anyone recommend a place? or should I search for 1on1 lessons through gum tree? I will practice alone but would be fun to join a class.
OxyKon
rather than send money on DJ classes i'd recommend hitting up you tube, there are thousands of tutorials starting right back at the beginning of learning to beat match out there, just need to find them
SugarDumpling
yeah didn't mean to come across as lazy. I am researching a ton online and reading music theory. But thought would be a fun social thing to join. Anything like that exist?
OxyKon
nah that's ok, i was just giving you an idea, as i live in Perth i wouldn't have a clue where is good in Sydney
LabRat
there probably are dl classes around. if you've already googled dj classes and haven't found anything try going into store dj or any other music shop where there's dj gear and see if they can help you. there may be flyers around for these things
