  1. The postage to send each item to each other would surpass the value of each item.
  2. Full item is now on ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/170999448837 ... 500wt_1219
  3. Sounds cool but im a serato man now after the audio 6. However I might update just to see what it's like, and see if they actually support there own bloody hardware with it now.
  4. Gremmis is a CDJ man so he used rekord box so it gives him all the correct information on the CDJ's Unless your using CDJ's with usb, don't worry about rekord box. Also my input on the original questions: I can safely say 99% of us here have just a collection of music organised into genre's, We play a song and pick another that fit's into the previous song well, and that wall suit the crowd. So it's pretty much just made up as we go along. Itunes, I generally just sort by Genre, then Key. Allows you to control software to start, cue, fade between songs ect... Also IMO a DJ controller is usually just a midi controller made for dj'ing specifically, e.g. jog wheels, faders, 3ch EQ and such.
  5. , dedicated filters are worth it alone IMHO
  6. Correct me if Im wrong but I'm pretty sure it's more for #BIGTIME producers, you would need to make a track that goes absolutely viral to get on it too. (Also assuming were talking about this http://ariacharts.com.au/chart/club-tracks/157 ) How good: Generally one of the best (By that I mean most popular) How often do I have to play: Not really relevant, the song itself is the main part. Where do I have to play: Not really relevant, the song itself is the main part. For the moment Id just focus on refining your skills, making mix tapes, talking to local dj's in the area ect.
  7. ^ Genuine or a ebay ones. Genuines are pretty much as much as the headphones themselves
  8. Why does it take me almost an hour and a half to setup mine then :S are the lights permanently mounted to the top bars of the stands?
  9. Is that your personal setup? Professional as heck! How long does it take to setup by yourself though O_O
  10. Flights to the meet & my part of the accomdation:) Up sat night, back mon afternoon.
  11. PLEASE FGOR THE LOVE OF GOD GET SOMETHING DIFFERENT look IMO the wego should be regarded to us pioneer fans as something you sweep under the rug and don't talk about, then continue to slather over cdj 2000's The numark mixtrack pro is a great controler that works really well with traktor and will only set you back 150 second hand. The reason for the hate on the weego is the size. There's portable, and then there's cramped. After having a look at one myself it's 100x more cramped to see in person than it looks. Trust me when I say you will be bumping every other button just trying to turn one knob, even for someone with small hands like me. But seriously, mixtrack pro, great layout, good jogwheels, affordable. If you have a bit of extra cash grab the MC-3000 if your still after smaller controllers. Can get em for $300 second hand. Full metal chasis, great soundcard, 4 deck control, dedicated filters ect... As for the larger controlers, I recomend the NS6. (DDJ-SX still has some flaws it needs to work out) I realise you might be wanting to stick with VDJ, but seriously, your a million times better off with traktor, it's far more stable, and theres alot more you can do with it. If you do a house party with VDJ, expect dropouts, crashes ect... It's not a stable piece of software. The ultimate IMO is serato, never had a hitch with it, however it's only avalible on a select section of cotrollers. TLDR; Get a mixtrack pro instead.
  12. Oh ye old mdex oh the memories
  13. HNNNNG, gig I forgot about for a friend on le friday, and earliest flight arives sat at 8pm :C il be there though/.
  14. Computer I built for my father like 5 years ago, was amazing at the time, cost 1k and still works like a dream today, runs pretty much everything fast. Most games it runs ridiculously well for a 512 dedicated and core 2 duo. Win7 64bit Thermaltake M9 Case Dual Core 3.16ghz 4gb ram ATI Radeon 4800, 512 dedicated ram. Asus P5Q3 Motherboard with Express Gate (OS that runs within the motherboard itself, can run basic stuff like web browsing and that, 3 second start from cold into express gate) 640gb Internal Sata drive External Harddrive dock x2 640 gb sata drives x1 500 gb sata drive x1 2tb sata drive 2gb External HD It's aged very well considering it's 5 years old.
  15. Not just production, general use too It's why I favoured towards the 10's Room I will be using em in for production is quite big, they will do nicely.
  16. 2 KRK 10's Listened to them all, by far my faves. 1k for the pair, put down the deposit for lay-by today
  17. Other way around for me, after the disgrace which is the audio 6 I can't ever recommend a NI product.
  18. Ebay charge 7.9% of what it sells for 900 is a little low, I mean for that logic each cdj and the mixer are only worth $250 each, doesn't sound right. Especially when the 800 mk1's still go for 350 to 400 each. Won't go any lower than 1k
  19. I'm coming!
  20. I dibs cooking dinner 1 night
  21. Yeah, the guy before's student only wanted to spend $700 for the lot, wasn't at all willing to let them go for that much. Not ebay yet, that's a last resort as il be paying them an arm and a leg just to sell them. Edit: Almost $80 just to sell em there
  22. Just letting you know the 1600 can be a ABSOLUTE DICK to setup as a dvs mixer Source: still haven't got mine going. Still can be done though, previous owner had it working.
  23. Still for sale, OP edited.
