that happens. when i did mobiles, i usually played the more chilled out jjj hottest 100 style shit til after speeches, or til someone comes up and requests a dance song, then you know they are ready to dance. When you drop a request as for first dance track, that person grabs all their friends and gets them to the d-floor, and kind of gives you a kick start. You don't 'waste' floor fillers early when people aren't ready to dance then too. However, also had gigs where nothing I play works, it happens. Just so unpredictable

i mainly play electro hau5 and wub. I sometimes drop deeper stuff earlier in the night though if that makes me relevant? lol

wouldn't hurt to ask them i guess. only thing that i think would be weird is using pitch faders and + / - for pitch adjust, instead of physically pushing the jog. and the eq knobs would be weird compared to normal. the buttons would be fairly easy to adjust to. custom mapping is also pretty cool

the software would be pretty cool to use with a tablet. take tablet + external soundcard (e.g. NI Audio 2) and you have an extremely portable setup. is your tablet multi touch? you would be a bit limited if it wasn't
