Just had a listen, while I was doing some other things. I liked it. To me no obvious technical issues stand out at all. Although at about 9:00 (mixing into the gadget theme song) I was wondering what was happening as it seemed to go quiet. That was the only part where I was listening and it got my attention and went back to listen again. Pretty good mix of funkier house and electro. Oh... And loved that build where I stuck a comment in.

Except for the ghost one cause I haven't been here long enough to judge that.

The only MD player I ever saw was a friend of mine, who was at the Gold Coast for a week for BDO. There was this Asian dude staying at the same hotel who was always at the casino. One day he lost big and sold most of his stuff, including a MD Walkman to my mate. The next day he had won, so bought back the stuff, but for less than he sold it for. Next day he had lost again, so my mate bought the stuff from him for less than he originally paid. So effectively made money out of the guy twice.

Anyone know of any software that you can load your mix into and it splits the songs up? So you end up getingt a mixed album like commercial mixes (Ministry of Sound etc). I realise it would be a manual process. I imagine similar to time-stamping your mix on Mixcloud. Not sure about everyone else, but I listen to a lot of my own mixes. Sometimes I would like to know what song is playing during a mix. And as they mature sometimes it is hard to remember exactly what song it actually was. So I would prefer to listen to my own mixes in this way rather than one long continuos mp3.

I've always thought of it like an equilateral triangle. So same distance from them as they are from each other. My desk is wide and the speakers at each end so I sit a little closer to them than they are to each other and have them pointed in to me. I am very happy with the sound they produce (M-Audio BX8).

You taking this test 2 days after getting back? If not it's all good. Drug tests are a way of life here. That's why it is very hard to get weed here cause nobody smokes it cause it stays in the system too long. Pills, coke, speed are readily available.
