Yeah that will be a good slot, what club seems to get busier earlier. There's alot more musical freedom compared to candys which is good and bad depending on each dj, so really as long as you keep people dancing they dont really care so long as you stay within electro, dubstep, moombah lines more or less. Yeah after dark is a new one, we were actually supposed to be on mainstage this sat but music people dont like acts playing two nights in a row had to give it a miss, i believe were playing after dark in june would be sick if youre playing then too.

That mash up used to absolutely go off last year, i wouldnt be playing it anymore but it's because gotye has recently gone number 1 in the us so they are all playing it alongside a thousand new terrible remixes and bootlegs led by tiesto's horrible remix of it.

Looks crap, seems like all these artists are doing new shoes for the sake of it. Not that many look any good either, it's a shame new artists seem to be more concerned with their shows than the actual music

Look very similar to the sputniks we used to use at work, a really cool and bright beam for the size but not the most reliable light, they arent up to being run for hours on end in clubs.

Yeah they almost always are linked its just a safe guard if a player freezes because they are basically computers now, by not using link you minus a few more risks. As for 4 deck mixing i used to think it was awesome but really you can achieve the same output with three or two its all down to how fast you mix. Generally most people still only use two for mixing tracks and the 3rd/4th for samples, loops etc

Gay and stupid, would have to sync tunes onto the ipads, would have latency and quality issues, no tactile control, more than likely alot of issues. All when you could have cdj200s sitting there which would do a better job and would be more suitable for a club so djs can bring their usbs or cds in easily.

Can do that on cdjs man much more satisfying, harder but worth the effort

I think the big issue here is that people still shuffle lol. Shuffle music can mean anything man, generally find it dutch or electro or obviously hardstyle, hardcore.

Any dj that doesn't have a duplicate shouldnt be in a club lol, despite not having the link cable people should carry a back up as well. I havn't found rekordbox and usbs to be as reliable as i like but the small loss in reliability and the benefits in time, organisation and whanot is well worth it. I used rekordbox via prodjlink through a switch at a mates 21st and basically played a playlist for a few hours with auto turned off so it just went through the songs and after say three hours it froze. I am pretty certain that was to do with my shit laptop overheating and causing the issue. USB wise i have found a few files can make the player freeze when you try to load it, i have had this issue with some wavs (primarily my own bootlegs and songs exported from ableton) and also a few songs with i believe bad ID3 tags that cause the freezing. Just a heads up for anyone that ever experiences a player freeze, just turn it off and back on it will be fine dont panic and try and load cds or link or whatever as once it freezes it wont load another song, for this reason and i also feel the link isnt 100% reliable i play off a usb for each cdj. Dont be cheap or stupid and have 2 or 3 usbs in your bag as they can die or if a player freezes and you need to restart it if the usb is that player and you only have one usb goodbye music.

As the title suggests guys im selling a djm600 in good condition, cosmetically not amazing in full working order and will go get it checked/serviced before selling. Im after a djm800 maybe a djm700 will also consider swapping plus cash, looking for 300ish for the djm open to offers and i will also check out market price but at this point flexible in all aspects just looking to upgrade.
