Nah i dont think it's native to traktor from memory, would have to make or download a midi file. That said it would most likely work pretty well with traktor.
No 100% correct, having worked as a soundtech and also playing regularly now in sydney, almost every single dj uses serato, and as you said the only time they opt for traktor is when used with a controller like an X1 or a full on midi controller.
Not at all, Traktor is a lot less stable but as you said it is running alot more. Depends if you will combine it with an x1 or something, if you are going straight timecode def go serato. Majority of timecode club djs use serato man its basically the standard.
In what sort of involvement do you have in mind cupe? make it easier to pinpoint potential events if we know what you plan on doing, just like handing out stickers and generating interest/involvement? Things like contacting the uni programmers to have adjf djs on at lunch or something once a week would be a good way to start. Ultimately a monthly night at a club or pub would be awesome.
I do know guys at warehouse can def push it if you guys have some ideas? Maybe some uni related stuff too, provide some djs or get involved with the comps etc
Make edits too, im not overly good at or comfortable with changing bpms all the time so making some edits especially of different remixes of the same song work well
Fixed This popped up everywhere today, very average imo thougt the same but its a pretty cool collab and its quite catchy i guess after a few listens, remixes should be good Def good remix material
