Would say more of the forum uses 25s? Having owed a pair of both xds, 25s plus the ath pro 800 audio technicas, you really cant beat the 25 especially if you plan on clubs later on. As you can pick them up quite cheap 150 - 200 because they are phasing them out for the new models. I will admit the 53s and audio technica have a bit better sound quality, but the punchiness, volume and isolation were far better on the 25s, which is key for clubs. They were also heaps lighter and sit on your head nice and firmly ie they arent loose like the others. End of the day headphones are key man, far better off getting quality if you want to try and take it as far as you can

DJT have you compared the dazzling quad to adj's quadphase? Very keen to get whichever one is better.

Played the craziest house party ever last night. Was a mate's 21st who works for a production company so he set up a curtained off section of his back verandah with a concert size hazer and all these sick lights, a massive split system with huge subs and even set up a megadeck table for us was like a little festival haha. Even better when you rock up with your roadcase and plug the xlrs in and thats your whole set up lol. After 9.30 or so there would have been 50 or more people losing their shit for the entire time was literally like a club so crazy. Musically it was easily the best house party as well, started with bouncy electro/techy stuff and just moved into the heavier stuff and ended on all the big anthems was crazy, very happy with the gig. Will post up photos/videos later when they emerge on facey.

Had the state finals of the uni dj comp at uts, didnt win but played well and people said they enjoyed it. Then headed to candys where we played after loops of fury at 3, was quite a solid set had the room pumping on a relatively quiet night which is always nice played 30 mins longer than we were supposed to so that was good.

Ive said it before too many models now, the 900 is the best but the 2k isnt a bad mixer
