? really. didnt the issue of driver issues disapper with windows 98? other then updating firmware (which i know essentially has the driver in there, which is mainly plug & play anyway) i dont think ive heard of a driver issue since i bought a desktop back in 2001 where a video camera i had said it wasnt compatible with my win 98 OS, and i just hit OK on every pop up and it still worked fine.

hey cap if i do an hour long mix can you pay off my credit card. cheers bud. ill even rep you if you do! anyways, just have fun with it sol. seriously dont give it too much thought. grab about 10 tracks that you know well. go for about 2 hours just mixing em all around, swappping the order etc. then break for a milo. hit record and mix whatever five tracks that come to mind. thats pretty much how the 3 mixes i posted were created. except for the last two it was break for a bottle of cc with dry, pass out, have some brekky and then record whatever comes out.

crunds, you can hook any mixer up with serato. the rane box plugs into your lappy and is in essence the sound card. then you just plug your mixer outs into the sound card

Hey the back of the rmx has inputs. Why couldnt you just output yor rmx into one of the inputs and then define that input in traktor as being an input you want to record? Or is that input not defined as an input of the sound card?

Yes but you must have your mixer going into an input on your soundcard

i thought that if it was set to internal mode and you hit record, it would record what ever was coming out of the master? chev is right when using timecode, you cant record. dont know how the hercules works, if it is purely a midi controller than i assume you can record internally.
