  1. cool little article about mixing down for rap vocals. especially since all y'all G6 fans have been using rap acapellas. http://theproaudiofiles.com/mixing-rap-vocals/
  2. yeah as i said im pretty sure ours was from k mart (though it was many many many years ago when a lot of yer parents were probably teenagers). and it has a solid bottom and no holes on the side. so over the years ive used it as a bucket, as a seat, as a record holder, as a computer table, as a boot organiser, as a basketball ring... i returned one to my parents a couple years ago, and an old room mate took the other one so it still lives!
  3. like your vs you're
  4. anyone else down with this mob (didnt know which genre to put em) they have a ninjasonik meets beastie boys circa pauls boutique meets beastie boys when they werent a rap group feel to em. never heard of em (well i thought i hadnt though delving into my old ipod i had one of their tracks on a ninja tunes compilation from about 4 yrs ago) but came across em today as they performing w/ ninjasonik and spank rock. they were oz boys who moved to US to pursue career. had some issues as one guy OD'd. now a 2nd album is being done with Armani XXXchange involved (one of my fave producers). anywho's ive youtubed four tracks (and going) and loved them all. id link bomb like i normally do but at work. check check check em out.

  8. depends on what model you using. you can fit a couple of these
  9. yeah ive noticed that too tubby. there use to be lots in the pitt street, liverpool street area. and funnily enuff its in the same area they are reopening
  10. yeah it use to take 2 of us when we were youngins and we'd cart them on our skateys. once i had boxed my vinyl and left home, one crate became my computer stand and the otherone as a boot organiser
  11. yeah i thought there already was a djm 900. anywho, i guess maybe it could be certified. this below thinks it will likely be certified http://www.skratchworx.com/news3/comments.php?id=1660
  12. oh i gets it now, this is a new unseen mixer. hmmmm i am still guessing no...
  13. no. there are only a limited of mixers that are. plus this doesnt have its own sound card?? here is the list http://www.native-instruments.com/index ... =1&rdrctd= or do you mean able to be used as a controller? if this, then anything that can send midi signals (and not just midi time clicks) can be used as ac ontroller
  14. wow its been a while since ive used one of those. i had a little more stylish ones we bought from kmart or target. i cant remember but i know its better not to fill it so you can dig thru your collection while playing.

    Hi!

    yo g
  21. why is there no youtube sticky in this genre cuperart?
  22. huh. is this out already!! i ve been waiting and then forgot about it. wuu-huuuu. are there any joystick packs
  23. yeah it was meant to be done by 31 Jan, with entrants posting submissions to cupe who would post them up anonymously. but as i said interest seems to have died off by the end of it.
  24. missed what? no one even posted anything. maybe this should get extended till 31 March or somehting....
  25. no worries. just remember one thing though, as z-trip says in his mini tutorial on the scratch film extras, doesnt matter how technically perfect you are just make sure it sounds good. i.e. ride the beat, make music. it aint about how many cuts you can get in your flare or crab if it sounds like incoherent noise. if you listen to the OG version of cudi's make her say, a-traks scratches are so minimal and so old school but it was the perfect compliment to the song.
