  1. the main users yes, though still not necessarily their main target market. even when there were new ones on the market, DJs were sourcing second hand ones. as a lot of DJs didnt want to fork out the cost for a new one. audiophiles on the other hand are more than willing to spend much more then what the actual value may be; much like sneaker heads paying 300-1000 retail for a pair of shoes.
  2. i think the thing is you are assuming this is for djs (hence thinking they buying two) but its not this is for audiophiles who quite happily drop 1000 on headphones together with a 300 headphone pre-amp. so 4000 on a turntable to go with a 12000 hi fi system probably doesnt bother them
  3. yo
  4. woh. very deep and honest good luck to the brother
  5. well to be fair the OG 1200s was targeted to the cigar smoking whiskey sipping looking down their nose audiophiles
  6. i think its true and i think it wont be an issue apple has enough market dominance to change the game. they made their laptops with one usb port and everyone said they wouldnt sell. not onky did they continue to sell, it revitalised the usb hub industry. eventually the sheep will all move to lightning even at high prices. as for me.... baa baaa nah this iphone 5 will likely be my last apple. the new ones are too big. mine is literally an ipod with messenger facilities im thinking of going the pioneer mp3 player
  7. damn thats the spare lounge... how big is the main one! looking good homie
  8. im assuming these will be built in the vietnam factory so theyll probably make heaps wonder if theyll price them accordingly, or tey to markup for that prestige.
  9. wow reads like it should be simple enough and looks good

    TOTD?

from a couple years back from our mates at shabang records love this mix. funky as bass kartel - oliver (jamm xpress remix) https://soundcloud.com/bass-kartel/bass-kartel-oliver-jam-xpress
  15. definitely depends lyrics are not needed to make a track (eg a nice chill ambient track) lyrics in a track may not add anything significant (eg a vocal cut) lyrics can add to the track (eg emo song to add emotion) and lyrics can be what makes the track (eg a certain refrain in a track that resonates with you) and sometimes mood or situation can change what the lyrics do for a track for me the lyrics dont necessarily have to be meaningful to add something to a song. some of my fave bmore tracks is someone repeating the same five silly lines, but the track would not be complete without it.
  16. lols how dumb. awesome troll by that dude =D>
  17. heres one for richo. i have this record
  18. for those of us who missed out there is 20% going on all weekend KEEPIT100
  19. did you picture the new orleans based genre of bounce music from the 90s. i loved that bounce music. all early cash money shit. no limit soldiers. even some of the newer big freedia stuff. but yeah i assume trenna means melbourne
  20. if you intend on still having turnies i suggest just getting a mixer UNLESS you foresee occasions you cna make use of just a controller.
