so i imported some new tracks to traktor the problem i have is i can analyse them, but as soon as i stop using track or exit and re-open traktor, the analysis is gone ive notice the difference between the tracks that will stay analysed and those that wont is the format mp3's are fine m4a's (mpeg-4) are not Anyone know whats going on?

fuark chill man. we are among friends here. didnt dedicate my post completely to ripping i actually had something to say towards thread as well. apologies if offence was taken by the man himself. This place isnt about who gets paid more. We are all here to just have a bit of fun and learn somethings while hanging with like minded people (thats what i get from it anyway). he contributes just as much as everyone and he knows we love him (if he does i will start dedicated thread) so we only wish to play nice. Now so i dont dedicate an entire post as you just did to criticism i will also say that I love Dj'ing because of the freedom you have to control peoples moods and communicate the vibe you have. The ability to spread the love if the mood is right just sayin.

better to play slightly older music then slightly newer, as generally the oldies can relate to it as its from their era and the young ones have heard it growing up because often their oldies have played/sung it continuously. the best thing is always to have a range. No use rocking up with 80's/90's music because you know its a wedding for 30 yr olds when the bride comes up to you and says we want to dance to 'sexy and I know it'. dont want to stand there with a dumb look on your face and tell her i didnt pack it coz i ASSUMED you would want old stuff. I did my cousins wedding not long ago and i got requests of everything from the beatles to george michael to lmfao. a couple i didnt have but i just jumped straight onto itunes to find them (this was easiest for me at the time). The main thing is you dont want to say no. its their day, not yours so just play whatever they want. Always handy to have a wireless mic setup available for mc. even if not explicitly requested. i found my 4 speakers did the job. 2 qualities at the front on stands for main sound and 2 rigged about halfway down the room to spread the volume alittle, but only had these turned down low. Spread them as far as you can to get an even sound. remember the guy in the back may have been the first boyfriend of the bride, he might like to listen to her happy day just as much as her father does.

^^this you dont go out to a club to see a guy use a controller like that. was going to say 'go out to a club to see someone with a controller' but then realised ive seen a couple of really good live sets where dj has sampled this shite out of songs to make some epic custom beats. doesnt look like you can do the same sort of thing of the XDJ so in my mind. wont appear in clubs anyway. its more for the lad just chillen with his mates who whips it out of his backpack. like a glorified ergo. except im sure will cost way more than the t1.

if its just the light, most electronic shops can replace it very cheaply. however the problem may be linked to other unknown issues that caused it to fail in the first place. just the light im say like $50 if that
