  1. Ok fair enough man, but definitely made the same, being obsessive I had to check this out via pioneer before I bought the 850's as well lol With the slow load where were the cdj's, If they are used by many dj's the very small internal memory may be getting full, my 850's load faster then my 2000, not sure if it's because of bigger screen + hot cues and track artwork etc The scroll is definitely looser on the 850 then the 2000, I thought it was the same on the 900 from memory, I prefer the scroll on the 850, I can get to the bottom of a 200 track list in a second if I want, 2000's have a very large click point, like the twist of the knob takes more force and sits in the obviously deaper grooves, much better if you know you need to scroll exactly 5 tracks up, not so ood if you need to scroll threw many Both decks have the platter resistance adjust though remember , although that may be for vinyl only until you get to the 2000 if I remember correctly But fair enough dude, all personal preference I guess
  2. I'd say Ok price, djm400 easily sells for $400, roadcase for $150 (both used) so 700 for cdj's + $550 = $1250 which isn't that cheap, plenty of all the above in a used pack pop up for $1000-$1100 so realisticly the cdjs should be cheaper
  3. 900's are made of the same materials, same platter, same buttons minus the roll and link button, there is No way they feel cheaper, maybe look cheaper, silver can look cheaper but now comes in black, the screen is the same but the visuals are not, 900's have a better waveform and slightly better menu, 850's screen is more like the 1000's but a little better Worth the many hundreds of dollars more....I cant justify it sorry man Use 850's, 900's, and 2000's every week
  4. OMG bonz, did not expect something like this, this is masssssssive dude! dat bass sounds so mint ♥ your biggest track yet i think man
  5. splitting the headphones can also help, eg, playing track in right ear, cueing/mixing in track in left ear, very usefull when using vocals as the master track can often over power the vocals without a beat on the mixing in track
  6. yep. thats what i do
  7. its a good idea on paper but its turns out kinda retarded, the glowing stage thing looks cooler with the strobes n shit behind it then the robot skeleton thing does perfect example here, the stage set up looks nothing but boss, but the robot...not so much
  8. just remember the extra your paying at jaycar also gives you a warranty if anything happens
  9. Skrillex Suit thing is kinda cool i guess, Mau5's Cube and DP's Pyramid are deffo the best nah i like that mashup, id play it over the original anyday, probs because somebody i used to know is a good song by itself, levels was such a unstoppable monster last year, and well i play in a semi commercial club
  10. Thoughts on this? I think its Decent, but i dont understand why he needs it....Its like Deadmau5 Cube wanna be? At 2:00 i was like though
  11. these guys 2 ^ great bunch of blokes
  12. not necessarily, if the decks are 2000's or 900's you can just have 1 USB if they are linked, works the same way for RekidboX
  13. never tried them, and i have no problem with ebay lighting as i used to have a heap of it that worked well, but moving heads can burn out motors very easy so be careful with cheapies

  19. remember how long it took crundy to get an avatar haha
  20. im not sure what you meen dude? your meant to cue in your headphones just so we are clear, you have track A playing out, and you getting track B ready by Placing the cue at the start of the song or desired place in your headphones...you dont want that going threw your speaker or the crowd (if you were live) would hear a scratchy cueing noise (vinyl Mode) or a stuttering beat (CDJ mode)
