eggssell Posted January 20, 2012 Author Share Posted January 20, 2012 its friday night and the weekends here i need to go get down, wheres the shuffle, mr deee-eee-jaayyy....the cool kids - takin' a break (cut it up)not sure how many people know the cool kids. sir mikey rocks and chuck english. but awesome slow rappers usually over very minimal beats. their bake sale EP which was a collection of internet released tracks and a couple of new tracks is a fab album. love every track on there. they were on the cusp of fame, but just as a lot of rap artists who then sign to a label their full release was delayed for a gazzillion years. came out last year, and it was great. especially because between that and bake sale all we had were mixtapes which weren't all thatthis was from one of the mixtapes, and yeah pretty mediocre. even worse as the mixtape host puts c-c-c-cannon over every freaking verse. eggssell Posted February 3, 2012 Author Share Posted February 3, 2012 regurgitator - devil spellfrom their new album last year. just a short little ditty (all the ones on there were). intital sound is like the bass from that beer ad with the tongue.but then the main melody kicks in of someone singing badda bums, which are the only vocals other than some haunting ohhhhhhhhs.very funky yet basic drum track until the killer drum endnice chill track, something you'd expect as an in-between song on a beastie boys album post paul's boutique. eggssell Posted February 23, 2012 Author Share Posted February 23, 2012 cant see because behind great wall, but yeah doesnt matter what genre (and fyi dj related is not only EDM! dj's play rock, metal, gospel, childrens etc. etc.)aiight i havent played for a while...eminem - still don't give a fuckthe last track from his first major slim shady lp (he had a few ep's and mixtapes before that). nice hook and beat. typical em beehatching and going on about the crazy things he going to do. for anyone that whined about em not being the same and going too far on relapse needs to go back and listen to this album. it is em as slim shady and going all in no holds barred, which is exactly what he did with relapse.
