A mate has them very similar to hd25, not as loud, slightly better high and mid but said the big issue was a bit too heavy and doesnt sit snug on your head like 25s so the isolation isnt as good.

Interesting point i think until recently you would consider EDM alternative or for the most part a niche genre. I was drawn its sort of innocence and purity in the fact it was music made to get people dancing and enjoy themselves, it doesnt need overthought or deep/depressing vocals. A genre is merely a way to organise sounds, i dont think you can say it is anymore or anything less than any other genre, the only difference is that it is purely music to entertain and bring joy.

As much as they are good its the fact that you use 800s in all the clubs, its a pain moving from one to the other all the time.

Its the way people approach it, i will request tracks especially of im drunk or living the goog life, i just type aby chance of 'song name', i Never ask for anything out of genre or inappropriate, just a track i might really like. Most people however do it like assholes.

Hey guys would anyone have an idea of what sort of price i could get for my djm600? By no means perfect condition but 100% working all knobs etc.

Cant forget they are still essentially club standard though, however as others have said dont go over 1k, would realistically look anywhere between 700-1k for decent condition. Everyone will put the first price at their top extreme because they know people will talk them down.

Target a particular genre or scene you want to play in, then find out the clubs that have what you want, go to the events and then get to know the promoters, you would be surprised how well old fashioned shaking of hands and introducing yourself can help.

Im guessing similar results if wired or running through the receiver? Check on the bottom of the mile itself or inside the casing wherever it opens as they can have their own volume/sensitivity settings. Tried checking the xlr or whatever cord you run into the mixer?
