According To Rolling Stone, These Are The 25 Greatest Internet DJ Mixes Of All Time In case you missed it, the legendary music publication Rolling Stone recently announced their list of the 25 Greatest Internet DJ Mixes Of All Time, which features some stellar mixes from artists such as Frankie Knuckles, Disclosure, Flying Lotus and Madlib to name a few. Causing controversy over their previous list of the '30 Greatest EDM Albums Of All Time', there is little to debate with this list of legendary mixes coming from the World Wide Web. While the list doesn't include live mixes, but "radio sessions streamed online, Soundcloud uploads, podcasts, Boiler Room sessions and more," the list features some legendary Essential Mixes from from Lindstrom and Prins Thomas, Greg Wilson and DJ Snake, as well as a few FACT Mag mixes. I'm sure I came across a website a while back where you can download maps. Sorry can't be of more help than that. Tried the Traktor help pages?

Monthly ADJF new genre mix - everyone apply within
Kodiak replied to Cupe's topic in DJ Headquarters
I'm auditioning tunes. After the meat I have a heap of techno tunes but no idea what any of them sound like. -
it's not an Aus tour, it's an east coast tour Same thing
-
Does it have to wall to wall techno? Or can you slip in something different here and there as long as it is majority techno?

Keen.... Need to get back into mixing tunes. -
I'm sure the thread is enough. There are other photographic forums for more specific feedback and discussions.

Somehow I don't think this question was aimed at vinyl DJ's. Nobody questions why you guys are busy.

Or chat..... Cheers for finally saying hello

There is a lot more to audio than throwing more speakers and more power at things. Placement and set up are probably even more important. There is an art to nailing the correct cross-over frequency. For example put your sub in the corner of the room about a metre/half a metre out from each wall with the speaker facing into the wall and see how it sounds? But obviously with mobile gigs there is only so much you can do.

Good shit... Loving your work!

You don't have to worry about that bit of wiring. The stuff you are concerned about has fuck all amperage going through it. Only concern is quality connections. And about 5 minutes worth of youtube tutorials should have you soldering like a champ. Back in my car stereo days I know of some companies that made custom cables. Pretty spendy though from memory.
-
Making your own cables is pretty easy. You can find everything you need at Jaycar. Quality cables are only required for anything analogue. Even then you don't exactly have to go too overboard. Anything digital it will make no difference.

My cousins family had the same issues with her. Although her noise was created in an entirely different way.

I did surprisingly bad.... Although I never picked the 128kbps.... It was always a toss up between the wav and 320kbps.

My understanding was the non shit ones have the bar and separate sub. Audio snobs lay shit on Bose, but they really are experts at getting lots of sound out of little speakers.... At a price though. Other than that I'm of no help as I've never actually ever been in the market for them. But as an alternate idea these little Audio Engine speakers are supposedly pretty impressive. And would look neat. http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=25718&cPath=571&utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=cse&utm_campaign=export_feed&gclid=Cj0KEQjw4qqrBRDE2K_z7Pbvjo8BEiQA39AImW7eBiSjeApHjkZFQDcQI9uFvQZZ-6MCrlog7n7TA6MaAror8P8HAQ#googlebase

Where is the fuse that blows? On the sub amp or main one?
-
After carefully studying these images I think I have come to a conclusion.... It's fucked and needs to be looked at by a professional. But will this cost more than just buying a new one? ps. Sorry I'm of no help here.

I hate myself for not having the funds to go.
-
Saying that, they can't hurt.

For audio it's going to make diddle squat difference. Class 10's are a necessity for photography where you are saving 40mb raw files at 5 per second. Aussie prices for memory cards are way higher than the US. If you have time to wait buy them off Amazon or bandh.com

You need to make micro adjustments to the bass/treble etc with such fine adjustments that nobody can make out any difference. All the while pulling the hand away from the knobs in a sharp motion, in time with the music. I believe this is the last skill you learn in intermediary DJ school before moving to the advanced cake toss. But in all seriousness I don't know either. But I'm an extremely average bedroom DJ.
