  1. Decided just to buy it huh?
  2. Is this another puppet thread? This can't be real?
  3. Hey... Welcome mate! Sorry can't help. Not a mobile DJ... Or club DJ. I'm just here for the lolz.
  4. Could buy a metal mixing bowl and cut a hole through the bottom to put your cable. Already shiny, bowl shaped to direct light forward and won't light up. Will look dodgy as fuck and if I ever saw you set that up at my place I'd sure as shit make you take it down so you can't use it.
  5. Hey
  6. Faithless - Insomnia Brainbug - nightmare
  7. Hey hey
  8. Ahhh.... It's a doco. Was wondering how they were going to make a movie about that?
  9. I forgot to add I don't know if iTunes actually does a decent job, or whether there are any difference in quality. I have heard of people who refuse to use it to rip a cd. In iTunes you have to set your preferred format and when you add anything to the library that is different there is an option when you right click on the tune to convert it.
  10. I've only done this through iTunes. But that is only wav or aiff to mp3. Never tried it the other way (mp3 to wav etc) as I figured there is no use in doing that.
  11. There is, just not mainstream stuff you hear. Plenty of local bands playing this stuff, especially uni bands. I would home across them all the time when I lived in Brisbane.
  12. Was right up the front when Filter played "trip like I do" at this year's Soundwave Festival and couldn't work out where I knew the song from. Them remembered it was the main song from this soundtrack. Filter and the chemical brothers. Was epic bass live... http://youtu.be/VeQRO4fXOKk
  13. No tempo faders? Wat?
  14. Heaps of bands in the late 90's and early 2000's had a DJ scratching as part of the group. Linkin Park as mentioned and also Limp Bizkit who had DJ Lethal from House of Pain help them out. Crazy Town and Papa Roach come to mind as well from that era.
  15. I do understand these are not of their doing though. They are doing great what they are forced to do.
  16. They weren't as vigilant with the take downs. If you tunes made it through the initial check you were right. Recently they have gone back through and old stuff is no longer safe.
  17. But the article is talking about 2013 when it wasn't shit.
  18. Shit... That was easier than I was expecting. Try again.
  19. Well that's not going help things is it? Let's see what I can do through my phone....
  20. Plus I think this is the tightest mix I've achieved so far.
  21. Something I forgot about I did a while ago. I recorded one of my mixes playing through Winamp with the Milkdrop visualisation. This allows you to place some text over the video where I put up the name of each song as they were mixed in. Plus a few other plugs along the way... I remember being disappointed at how this looked once YouTube compressed the hell out of it. The original 1080p 100+ fps (I have 120hz monitor so can see greater than 60fps) is a thing of absolute glory. But HUGE at about 60gb file. Anyway... Check it out. 22. I think the, "is Brisbane the new music hotspot," story gets rolled out every other year. Just the genre of music changes.
  23. Hey hey
  24. This.... Not a big enough saving for the potential fuck around. I've got nothing at all against buying from overseas but for this amount I wouldn't bother.
  25. But in 5 years time there will be very few, if any new cars these can go in. There aren't many now.
